The hills and forests of Southern Indiana create a picturesque backdrop for any film shoot. The track of the French Lick Scenic Railway travel along rock cuts, lakes, through an impressive 2200-foot tunnel.
The Museum has a collection of rolling stock that includes open-window, 1920's era coaches, diesel locomotives, steam locomotives (non-operational), and a vast array of freight rolling stock.
The railroad is also serviced by a 1907 limestone passenger station, a 1930's era brick freight depot, and a recreated 1920's wooden passenger station.
